Revit Toposurface - Importing CAD File

Okay - I am new at this and trying so desperately to not go back to AA to do this project. Anyway, I have a 2D topo CAD file that I have imported into Revit. I have traced over the contours and generated the existing grades without any problems.

However, there is addtional data on the 2D plan such as existing trees and the property lines that I want to include on the model. The new surface seems to be masking the 2D plan - is there anyway to bring it forward?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Simply change your site plan view to wire frame. If that doesn't work then you may have to adjust your view range.

Also, if the contours in the CAD file are at the correct elevation, you can simply click on "Use Imported" when creating the toposurface, and choose the layers containing the contour lines. That will create your existing surface in just a couple of seconds!
