It´s possible, only depend of the export options that the structural software use, 3dDWG? SAT?

Staad Pro does export to a 3d dxf format
However all columns and beams are converted to a single center line
What you now have is a single line 3d frame.
I was hoping the structural members could be imported.

I've done this with eTabs for CSI.
Using their plug-in, you can take a model created within eTabs and turn that into a Revit model really quickly and easily. And vice-versa.
You'll likely need a plugin for Revit from Staad that lets it read their models. Exporting models from Staad and then importing that into Revit they way you are will only give you static, stupid 3D models, not BIM models.
If Staad it can make a proper model that eTabs can read, then you could export from Staad to eTabs, then use the eTabs Revit plugin to get a real BIM Revit model from your Staad model.

The best way that you could do is to start modeling you structure in revit structure and export your model to staadpro using the plug in from structuralintegrator (http://structuralintegrators.com/products/si_xchange.php) your revit model will become analytical model in staadpro. as of now there is no two way link/integration yet but only one way nontheless it still work just fine for producing analysis and documentantion.
hope this helps.
