If I try to plot in acad 2009, i get stuck on the 'Plot Job Progress' status bar for about 5 min. When it finally does go thru, nothing happens. This problem just started happening last Friday. I made no changes to anything. I even tried to do a 'System Restore' and it said that nothing has changed since the last system save. Also, when I double click the printer icon, it says I have a drawing in queue, and that it is spooling. But, it nevers plots. It also says that the file size is 64 KB, regardless of the drawing. I tried to plot different drawings and it still says 64 KB. Weird. Also, if I try to plot to PDF (I use Bluebeam) it also takes incredibly long to plot, but it will eventually plot. However, when I double click the print icon while plotting PDF, it says my file size is almost 2 GB. The drawings are about 5-10 MB. Oh, and also, Acad 2008 plots just fine. To the plotter, PDF, its all good. This is just happening in 2009.

Has anyone experienced this, or can anyone offer some advice based off of the above ramblings?

Thanks

There are so many variables here.... where to start...?

Does this happen with a new empty drawing that contains only a couple of lines for example?
What print driver are you using?
What about if you plot to file?
What about if you install a different print driver and then plot to file?
