2007 ADT project browser unable to locate and set current project. Message "could not set current project" dialog box appears. Project folder and .apj file are shown in Explorer.
Attempt to rename or create new project does not help. Problems started after removing ADT 2006 software from computer. Current projects were created and used ADT 2007.
How do I fix?

I'd try to do a repair on your install. I've heard when you have more than one CAD version on your computer, then you delete one, it will also delete some shared files. It's worth a try.
oh yeah, welcome to AUGI and congrats on your first post

I recently had the same issue with ACA 2009. The repair install was the only thing that worked for me. Everything you stated happened to me also. I even passed on the project to another co-worker, and it opened fine for them. The Repair was the only thing that fixed it.

Thanks so far. Due to limited computer ability, what steps are needed to perform the repair?
Thanks again for your help

If you insert your disk, you should get a dialog box to pop up and there should be a Repair Installation option.
