I finally found a way to reduce the amount of wall join cleanup. I do some complex buildings and have considered the wall join issue major in my work. In my previous CAD life I drew frame walls in CD's as a double line sometimes with hatch or linetype identifiers for masonry or special walls.
I've found that if I set my coarse scale fill pattern for walls to solid and the color white, that takes care of most wall join cleanup and hides the really screwy ones. You don't end up with all the wall structure drawn but I find that I can always change the view properties to medium so that I can see the wall detail for alignment and connections. My life just got a little easier.
