defaulting windows/doors to center of wall

I'm having a problem figuring out how to place windows/doors in center of radiused wall, (or any wall for that matter). I'm sure this is easy but I'm stumped.

Humm... I see what you mean about the arced wall. You could use the arc length dimension tool to dimension either side of the door/window and manually adjust it so it's in the center.

For a normal wall, the door or window should "snap" to the center of the wall.

They actually don't snap to the "center" of the wall but to the wall itself. How they appear is based on the family.
