I went to a SU4 update last week w/ a cohort. The moderator took a brief poll on what everyone was using. We said we were using Revit and plain Autocad and one partner was using SU. It was an interesting mix of users and software platforms. My cohort and I both said we like Revit but the massing part is a bit tiresome compared to SU.
Probing, I asked if SU was ever approached by AD and be assilimated. He said AD has made "inquires/offers" to purchase SU but, right now SU's owner does not want to be part of AD. It would appear that SU will likely be separate for some time to come unless the owner of SU and his investors has a change of heart.
