Roof windows

I'm trying to find a way to "see" roof windows (projection) straight down the level below but only with a single line (dotted or hidden) just to show where the windows are but with no results. Any idea?

At the level below, go to view properties and choose underlay to show upper level or the roof level. Now you could go to line tool and choose hidden line to pick the roof window (which should be visible as underlay)and once you are done you could change the underlay back to none. These line will also be associative.

Recently I used this method as I usually do. To speed things up, I hit invisible lines for the whole skylight. I could not then change that window with linework. I had to replace the window.
