Tagging Legend Components

I am making a window frame elevation page and using a legend to do so. I am adding legend components and dimensioning them but I can not tag these elements. Is there a way to do so?

No, by definition, you can't. If you could, you could never make a symbols legend. You need to use elevational views if you want to tag the window elevations. Revit seems to have been aimed at doing a schedulke for windows, and you can effectively schedule Head, Jamb sill details in a schedule that only shows window types. Also look into Key schedules.

Also do a search for "Previous Phase Legend" or "future phase legend." A few posts here cover it at neasum, about how some of us are handling this issue...
