Sections question

Is it possible to create a section with more than 2 points in revit 2008? kind of a "Z" section?, for example if I want to cut a section across a building but with the line sections parallels join by a horizontal line.

With the section line selected look at the options bar. You can use "split segment" to jog the section line.

yep, after you place the section, highlight it (click on it) then in the options bar above there is a split section option. You will see how it works once you pick the section cut, it will split it there and you can drag...
