i can't label my contours in my existing site ....... labeling in the new went just fine

What exactly is it doing?

I found that when I label existing and new contours, even though I have created separate contour label types, it will end up using one type for ALL contours, no matter which type I have picked. So for example I will have chosen my Existing Contour label type, but it will still use my New Contour label type on the existing contours. I have to go back and pick the labels and change them to the Existing Contour type after the fact.

Also it helps to hide the new topo surface when labeling existing contours, to make sure you're not accidentally labeling the new.
