New to the forum and generally new to Revit 09.
Currently I am attempting to compile a code review note/schedule. I began by creating a Key Schedule so I could create data columns that could be edited and weren't based on model components. I have run into a standstill and am looking to see if there is anyway to edit these cells so that the data can overlap within a single row? Essentially the two images show how in Excel a row of text "flows" into the next column as long as no other form of text is entered in that row; Revit however either wraps that information within the column and creates a multi-lined text or in order to create all the text in a single line it requires that the cell be extended (this throws off formatting of cells that have minimal text, ie "1" and "2"). How do I get Revit to flow across schedule cells similar to Excel? Is there a way to disable wrapped text in schedules? I would like to keep this either in Revit or Excel and still have editing capabilities.
*The concept of pasting a raster image or pdf from Excel or even Autocad would not be my ideal solution.
I have been looking extensively but have yet to find a workable solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
