Hello everyone,
I have created a floor with 2 different floor surface patterns,Its a rectangular room the outer boundary floor has a vertical & horizontal crosshatch surface tiling with 8" spacing .For the centre rectangular floor i have created another surface pattern for the floor with diagonal pattern at 45 degrees.what i want is to align the start pts of the floor surface pattern to show the starting pt of the tiling. is it possible in revit coz in autocad u can just give the snap base option and u can specify the start pt of the tiling .
Can anyone help me out.
Reagrds,
Aliya

Your surface patterns must be model patterns, then you can align the patterns with any geometric point using that tool.

we are using surface pattern model patterns only, how to align the patterns with any geometric point?
we can adjust line spacing but how to give spacific start point?

Highlight one of the lines of the pattern by tabing over it and click, now pick the move tool and pick from one point to another and you will move the pattern to wherever you want it to start. You can also rotate it or align it.
