Did I see somewhere where you can draw a roof by hips and valleys? Or otherwise does anyone have a way to finish this roof ridge, (see attachment). I need to have a small hip roof from the front roof, (highest ridge), down to the main ridge. Not sure how to get this in revit. Tried a few tricks that didn't work. Still working on front roof elevation but I wanted to get this behind me.
Thanks

I would normally just do that as a separate piece of roof, aligned and joined to the main roof(s).
You can create roofs by ridges and valleys, but you have to start with a flat piece of roof in order to get the hip/valley editing tools (similar to the point editing tools you get with floors). However I have not personally created a roof that way. In fact I didn't even know about this method until just a few days ago myself.
I read about it on this tips page, 3rd tip down. http://www.revit-training.com/tip.html
