Custom Site Locations for Sun Studies

Hi all

I have been unable to add custom locations to the sitename.txt and have them show up in RA2009, im also running XP+64 bit as OS but i dont know if its a permission thing with OS or the txt file just cant be added to anymore.

Any help with this would be appriciated

yep i have done that but to no avail - revit just doesnt wont to recognize the change to the txt file but i dont know why?

sure thanks for looking at it. i had to zip the file it exceeded the limit for txt's

the location i have added is Toowoomba, Australia

ok after a couple more tests i have worked it out i think.

It looks like its in the way you added the location to the list, if you got the line above where you wont the add and enter return to the next line then add the location it works.

What i was doing before was entering at the start of the line to create the blank line to add it to - if that makes sense...

So you put the cursor at the end of the line above (after the city name) and hit Enter to start a new line, RATHER than putting the cursor at the beginning of the line below, hitting Enter, and then coming back up to start the line, correct?

I'm surprised that it makes a difference, being "just" a text file.
