Hello there,

This is my first time here, and I am engaging my first revit project after an elementary Revit course. The problem I have is this: I am modeling a house in revit using meters as my units. When I draw the levels, the elevations show as 0, although they are right when I check them in the properties pad. Level names show just right. Any insights as what could I be missing?

Thanks,

Carlos,

The base level is zero by default. The other levels relate to that level. ( Default is set to "project level", but can be changed to "shared " - see the help files )

You can lock the relationship of levels with a dimension, then change the relative level of the base, to say 20.0 m , or whatever, and all the other levels will change as well.

Alternatively, you can change the projects base elevation. Refer the tutorial on this subject.

Also, search this forum for threads about this.

Thanks beegee. I actually had the round off units setting set to a high number. Your suggestions are another thing I was looking for.
