Hi,
How can we change the Elevation tag and dimension style as per the attachment.
For dimension i can draw line around it but i need only the dimension without the centre line 9refer attachment).
thank you

Elevation tags cannot currently be edited to display like that, as a workaround, use a section with no tail and the line pulled in.
For your dimensions, I cannot see any way of turning the line off, however you can set it to be white, thus non-displaying. You will want to turn all tick marks and extensions to none or zero, and make sure your text is transparent rather than opaque otherwise it might mask the frame you draw round it.

Hi Katika,
Thank you for your inputs. If i change those elevation tags into section tags, then all my elevations will go to section category, instead i think i have to compromise and use the default elevation tags.
Dimensions style: your suggestion is working in revit the way i wanted it, but when i export to CAD all this will be visible...........

Wow! Thats like extreme custom dimensioning :-D
What software are you using to dimension like that?......

You can in fact create subcategories for sections, so you could still keep it seperate from actual sections and use it. I have mine called sections (elevations), Family is section, type is labelled elevation.
Hopefully the upcoming release will allow Elevation Markers to be customised.
When the dimensions are exported to acad, they remain dimensions, so you can easily turn the line off (suppress dim line) in the acad dim style.
