is it possible to pre assign annotative scales to blocks? (Autodesk have said it is not which seems like a missed oppurtunity)

we are attempting to provide a surveyor with a set of annotative blocks which have pre assigned annotative scales of 1:500, 1:1000 and 1:2000 so he can use these blocks for his survey symbols. then when we use this data as background our 1:500, 1:1000 and 1:2000 prints will print the symbols at a consistent size rather than the usual varrying sizes which typically make your drawings look a mess.

we do not want the surveyor to have to assign the scales each time he inserts the blocks.

cheers

I don't think this is possible. You can't assign a scale to a block in the block editor. You can only assign scales to a block reference in the drawing.

The only way I can think that you can preset the scales would be to insert all the blocks in a drawing and set the desired scales. That drawing can be used as a template when creating new drawings or can be inserted into another drawing.
