hi all,
I like to know that having plastering layer in walls will be advisable or not? In real life there will be a plaster.

Advantage which i know i can avoid floor slabs to be seen in elevation it there is no plaster layer then i may offset my floor slab little inside the wall or i will use line tool to remove those lines from elevation.

Disadvantage which i think is wrapping issue

I am going to start a big project in revit so i need ur views to add this plaster layer in my wall.

Thank u

For something as thin as that, I would show the finish layer in the wall type (so that the total wall thickness is accurate), but I wouldn't worry about showing the finish layer wrapping in plan. I just take care of that type of thing in the details.

Curious, are you actually referring to plaster & lath construction? Is that even still used anymore? Or is it just something like gypsum wall board (sheetrock)?
