Wall Layers

None of my walls are showing this...please see pic.

I seacherd and searched for this one and could not find where it occurs. I looked under stacked walls, walls by face everthing I could think of.....maybe someone from Autodesk can shed some light on this.

Go in to the properties of a wall, and hit edit structure. Turn on the preview, and put it on Section View.

Then the "Assign Layers" button will become active, and you can click it and select different layers of the wall for floor attachment...

And yet it's an instance parameter?

It is in the gloassary, but i believe thats because walls dont join to floors by type, as they might not all touch the floor...

I dont actually see a radio button for it, i think that LAYERS button just controls IF it joins to a floor...

I have several walls in which I have assigned layers and so on....however I am not seeing that parameter available for them.....

Maybe if you have a wall in which this is the case you can post it for us all to learn something.
