Custom menu for International use

I need to adjust our custom menu's for use in international versions of 2002 (AutoCAD out of the box). I recall a specific character that was required at a specific location on each line of code for this to work. I ignored this when writing the menus years ago & it has of course come back to bite me.

Does this ring a bell to anyone. Cant find it anywhere.
