Repeating Detail - How do I....

Multi-Category Tags are working brilliant in my details....then again, I just hit another wall....

How can I Tag a "Repeating Detail" element?

Start with a generic annotation tag family and change it to a detail item tag... under settings, family category and parameters.

My Tag works fine in other Detail Components, but not "Repeating Details"
I guess I just have to use simple text with them...

There is a ready made one available online.

Do a search (annotation Tag) using the search box at the top right hand of revit. MEP detail Tag available for download - should work fine in RAC & others

Ian I did search, but no luck....help please...

Even if I make one from scratch.....what parameter should I use....Right now I am using "Type Comments"
Then in my Detail component, I type in my notes in the type comment space in the "Type Properties Box.. And then when I apply my tag....it reads my notes perfectly

Attached is the one I downloaded yesterday. I haven't tried it, but the settings etc are all ok so I think it should work fine.

But No tags work on "Repeating Details"

Oh!! LOL!!!! Ok Ok I been able to get that.....but the thingy is my Intention is to use "TYPE PROPERTIES (Type Comments) " instead of ELEMENT PROPERTIES (Comments)".....
So my detail elements carry same exact note everywhere..... :-D

Then tag that parameter instead of Comments

Anyway to Control the Horizontal length of the Tag?

Change the length of the label text box in that tag family.
