I'm tryig to figure out why Revit is set to not clean up bearing to non bearing wall joins. I've been just setting all walls to bearing so they clean up but,...what's the logic behind not letting them clean up? Is there an override to this so I don't have to keep changing walls?
Thanks

As far as i know the structural function is not taking in account hwen cleaning up

It may not be just the structural function but I did change a bunch of walls that weren't cleaning up to "bearing walls" to match the walls they joined and they did clean up. But, if you'll notice from the attachment,(closet in bedroom 2 and walls at entry), some walls still aren't cleaning up. Not sure why?

it is the same type of wall at badroom 2 and adiacent toilet ?. can you put a file with same samples of your walls in order to check what realy make this things happen?

Do they have the same height? check out the top offset. Normally if 2 or more walls are the same type and have the same height properties, they should clean very well.

Wall layers do not "clean" if they have different materials. That is why you see the line at the joint. Make sure you apply the same finish and structure materials to each layer if you want them to clean up without joint lines.
