I've got a sloped beam system (almost vertical). In plan view, the beam is completely shown, ignoring cut plane setting under view range. Searching the forum I found a post about toggling the "show family pre-cut in plan view" parameter under 'family category and parameters' but this is not available under structural framing, only under structural columns.
Another question, is there a way to offset the justification of a beam system. The only options available is start/end/center. Can it be set to 'start' after 0.5 meters?
EDIT: Couple more questions. Is it possible to place columns/beams over model lines? For example 3d lines imported from autocad, replace them with beams/columns. The beam 3d snap doesn't allow to snap to the line's end points.
Is it possible to invert a planes direction? I imported a mass to revit, and I'm using it's sloped planes to set workplanes for beam systems, but sometimes this workplanes are inverted and the beams are upside down. I tried inverting the surface normals before importing but doesn't seem to have any effect.
