Continuous Soffit Vents

I Made a ceiling Hosted Component (Continuous Soffit Vent)
However, when I intersect one with the other perpendicular, I would like the intersecting joints be clean up.....Is this possible? If not, what approach is the best...

Let them overlap, and clean it up with the linework tool or a detail... You might be able to join geometry the components, depending on how theyre built. I have some Lin Based families that clean up when you JG them...

You may be able to use Join Geometry if the family category supports it.
