Door Type

My first post. By the way, I've been a lurker on the forum here, reading everyone's post, advice and seeing examples.

I'm creating a door type legend as a general annotation family to be added to the door schedule, editing the door type legend per specific project. In creating the new family, I'm given only one line style, general annotation and I would like a wider, thicker line and hidden lines?
How do I do this?

Welcome David,

In families the line you need to create is actually an Object.

Try Settings>Object Styles...that should get you on the right track.
