Custom .PAT files [Archive]

Hi all,

Does anyone have a good utility to create custom .PAT files? I can draw the repeating pattern in AutoCAD. I'd like to convert it to a Model .PAT file.

Back in the day, I would use patgen, but that app doesn't seem to work with AutoCAD 2009. As luck would have it, I don't have access to the old versions of ACAD anymore.

I posted a LSP file some time ago that can be used to create a PAT file from AutoCAD. It should still work in the most recent versions. Check this thread.

Hatchkit will also do it.

It's kind of an odd interface, but will do the trick once you get used to it.
