Lower Ribbon Panel Disappears

I've just installed 2009 on one of my user's workstations and he's experiencing an odd problem with his ribbon. When he selects a panel drop-down (i.e. wants to activate that portion of the ribbon under the Panel Separator), only the top little fraction of the panel actually shows. This happens in both AutoCAD standard and our custom ribbon tabs. It appears to only happen on his workstation and no others.

Any ideas?

Toggle thru the 3 ribbon visibility states and see if the issue goes away.

Thanks for the suggestion, Robert, but I'd already tried that. Rebooting doesn't seem to help either. I have realized the sole difference between this guy's machine and the others in the office, however -- the user has two monitors. I'm getting the feeling there may be something going on with his display drivers.
