Anyone tried the product download feature yet? Supposed to start 16th. March (yesterday) can't see any 2010 products listed there yet.

I think I've seen March 26th mentioned as a date for Revit 2010 but I'm in no rush ;)

The 16th seemed to be just an admin date for when you could set your preferences for download or download with media, however I don't see the latter as an option - I just have download ticked already.

When i go into the subscription center, i dont see anything related to download Revit 2010 on either date mentioned. is there something I am missing. I am set up to be able to download from the site, so that shouldnt be an issue.

sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I had read that date in the subscription center - it was a date mentioned in a forum recently - can't recall which one.

Anyway, all you need to do is to subscribe to Greg Arkin's wonderfully OTT blog and you'll be notified the millisecond after downloads are available :)

...in fact that is where I must have seen that date - 25th March actually - but treat with caution:

OTT? What does that mean?

AutoCAD ships around 3/24. They stagger all other products because they have to ship several million CDs out and can't do that to FedEx in one day.

Expect Revit to ship between 4/7 and 4/15 as those are the ship dates from the past two years. I get an update every Friday evening and will post on Revit2010.com the latest release information for the products. You can subscribe at www.revit3d.com/subscribe (http://www.revit3d.com/subscribe) or follow twitter.com/revit3d for instant notifications.

We're almost there, but it's definitely going to be a few more weeks.

.

I thought that the product would be put on a server and those who wanted to could download it - "Speed up - Download". CD's & DVD's would then be shipped out as per usual. Al least that's how I understood the letter I received from Autodesk..

They are starting a new delivery method. They were testing it in other countries.
The day they ship, the software is available to download as well.
Should be available for US customers.
