Views and level issues

I am currently working on a project in which there are several slabs per 'floor' each slab is denoted by a level, the problem I have is that there are pipes and equipment between slabs. I want one sheet that shows all my equipment for the 'floor' The issue with this is that the only way I seem to be able to do that is with wire frame on, otherwise the equipment under the slabs does not show. But with WF on I see equipment from other floors as well. Can anyone give me an idea as to the best way to solve this problem?

In your equipment families, place an invisible line in elevation up from the symbol to a point high enough that it would pass thru the cut plane of your floor plan. This will then bring the symbol up.
