problem importing take a look

importing either dxf and dwg......i'm trying to overlay a truss into a view.....scale isn't the issue , i can figure that out.....i get this warning....."None of the created elements are visible in Section: 01 gfrc check 2 View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings"......i checked all "imported catagories".....it shows up as is on capture (washed out) and i can't seem to grab it or see it clearly

This is ACAD 2D drawing? I usually import all 2D elements into a drafting view and explode. There I can modify line weights and styles as needed before grouping, copy, and paste into the section/detail view. However, this is counterproductive if you plan to use the same 2D elements in future projects.
