Detailed component & Catalog file

Hi All

I have created a detailed component which has a catalogue file as there are 4 versions (sizes) of this component.

However, I want ALL 4 components to load without me selecting them individually from the catalogue list.

I have had little success using the ALL function.

I know that if I load a door component and there are a number of different sizes of door then just by pressing return when the catalogue file appears ALL the doors in the catalogue file load.

Has anyone any suggestions how to get ALL the detailed components to load in ?

Ok I am guessing from the lack of responses that this is not possible to do.

I am still working on it and if I do crack it I will post it here.

In the mean time any ideas would be appreciated.

Don't use a type catalog.

Make the types in the family, delete-rename-move the assoicated TXT file and load the family into your project.

However, I have to use a catalog file as I have written a visual basic program for keynoting that also produces a TXT catalog file so that the detailed components dont have to be created within the family as there are over 2000 types of this family.

Any other ideas ?
