Nested Window Families

How do I get rid of the hole in the wall so it only looks at the windows when inserting? I'm doing this based on the Window.rft file when inserting the other windows to create it.

Jarod,

Put your cursor over the opening and use the tab key to cycle through until the opening is highlighted. Then delete the opening.

Family creation can be a pretty complicated part of Revit. While jumping in and playing around with them is certainly one way to learn, you may want to run through a few of the tutorials to speed up the learning process.
