Detail Callout Size

I would like to edit my detail callout to match the size of my section callout. The element properties of both objects says that they use the same callout family, but one is larger than the other. See the attached image. Does anyone know how to get them both to be the same size? There has got to be a simple setting somewhere.

Hi Peter,

There is no simple input to change the call out head, or indeed any other tag. You will need to create a new tag (grab the existing one - copy and adjust it to your needs).

What I find curious is that the element properties for both the section head and the detail callout show it using the same callout tag- "Callout head with 1/8" corner radius", yet the resulting call out is different in the view. I posted the screen shot showing the element properties for the section, but the detail shows the same callout tag.

Hi Peter,

If the section and call out head were using the same tag, they would have the same appearance on the screen.

"When you look at the "Graphics" in the View Properties, it notes that the Call out uses "Callout Head w 1/8" Corner Radius" and the Section is "Section Head - Filled, Section Tail"
These are different tags.

I modified all of my tags in an attempt to get us closer to NCS - it took a bit of back-and-forth in the family editor and moving around reference planes in the family but eventually I got it working
