New Phase with new color

I have number of retail stores that require addition of a new furniture group (pretty much always the same). the customer wants them in different color.
I cant seem to find a way to do it quickly (i have to modify about 50)
Have a feeling it could be simple but it is driving me crazy.
any ideas?

First, welcome to the forum!
As far as your question, creating a new phase and giving it a new graphic override is one way to do it. Creating a similar type with a new surface pattern solid color is another.
But, no matter which option you use, you will still have to pick each individual item to either change it's phase created, or type. (Remember, you can select one, then right click to select "Select all Instances" to speed things up.)
