Presentation of walls above cut plane

Is there any way to annotate walls above cut plane, or at least change their presentation when (barely) cut? It's important for us to annotate load lines on floor construction drawings. The way we do it now is with a linebased filled region (detail item).

Here's the way I handle walls that are above the cut plane:

1) In view properties, turn on an underlay. You want the underlay to be set to the same floor level, but the orientation should be RCP.
2) In the plan view, you should see the RCP elements gray. With the linework tool, select the walls / ceiling pads / whatever with the dotted overhead line.
3) Turn off the underlay. Notice, the linework over-ride will still be visible.
