Window Cut Wall Sweep

How do a get a window to cut a wall sweep? The sweep is built into the wall style, doors cut it but I can't get a window to do it.

Sorry, it is not very easy. We implemented wall sweeps thinking that user will use them as thin decorative cornices, not as another wall. This may change in the future, but not in 7.0 I am afraid.

To fake it: make an invisible (transparent) solid family (in-place or normal) and use Tools->Join Geometry to remove it from the wall sweep.

The reason is that inserts are not removed from wall sweeps, rather the whole sweep is interrupted where the insert cuts the sweep path. This is why doors seem to work.

I'm sorry but this is a pretty typical thing to have in residential construction or even small commercial projects. So for what I'm doing is this best way to go about doing brick veneer with a wall cap and having the ability to add windows into later?
