Linework in compound roof

Is there no way to change the interstitial layers of linework in a compound element? In the attached I would like the lines between elements showing up as different line thicknesses, but the linework tool only allows the altering of linework on the outside faces.

Unfortunately thatis the case.

I guess you could place a filled white region over the floor and draft the layers, but probably not worth it.

Are those 3 separate objects? If so use the join geometry on them...

I wish roof assemblies will show components on a perpendicular section. For construction documents on paper they are very limited on usability as they are right now.
