Open Revit 2009 by Default

Does anyone know how to get Windows to recognize Revit 2009 as the default program to open Revit files? No matter what I do, it continues to open 2008 as the default. I've tried switching the default program it opens with and even after I select the 2009 launcher, it still opens with 2008. Any ideas?

Go to Control panel - Tools - Folder Option-File Types; scroll to RVT, highlight. click change, browse to Revit 2009 - Revit.exe. It worked for me.
