missing elements

I was out of the office yesterday, and some changes were made to a project we're working on, everyone's local files have been updated to reflect that. However, in the process some walls and ceiling elements went missing, the only person with those walls and ceilings is me. Is there a way to save to central and tell it to update to "re-include" those elements back into the central??

Hope that made sense, trying to do find a solution that won't require me to "copy/paste" back into the file to get those elements back again.

No there is not. If you update, you'd loose those walls as well. Best you can do is detach your local from Central, then make a new local, open both in one session of Revit, and cut items from detached, and paste into new local, then save to central.
