Editing Split Faces on Ceilings & Soffits?:

Is there a way I am not aware of to edit split faces in a ceiling or soffit element? After you create a split face, you don’t seem to be able to select it to move, edit, or delete it like you can on walls and floors etc… If not, is there a reason, or should we request this be fixed in future versions?

Actually you can....TAB - Select the Split and you can move it.

Did you test this for ceilings and soffits? I just tried it and made sure all my elements were turned on...and even tried it in 3D view and I cannot select the split face linework on a ceiling or soffit element. I can easily do it on walls and floors etc...but not on ceilings or soffits. Maybe my version of 2009 is broken?

I agree, using tab does not seem to pick the split line on a ceiling.

Try selecting everything nearby with a cross box and then using the filter/funnel tool to pick only the split face. That worked for me.

Ahh, thanks for the advice, that worked for me too, at least I can pick them and work with them now. Hope they get this fixed in the next version though, to make it easier on us.
