I like that there is a Structural Beam System tool so I don’t have to go in and create all the individual joists in models. The issues I had were that I don’t see a way to adjust the slope of the beam system or to adjust extensions of the beams in the system, such as the joist tails. I have some wall sections that I need to make these show up correctly in.
For sloping the beam system I figured out that I could host the system on the face of a ceiling work plane, but didn’t see that there was another way like noting bearing heights.
The joist tails I have no idea about unless I unpin each joist, but then any changes in spacing etc seems to reset that joist, so it defeats the reason to have them in a Beam System in the first place.
If someone knows of a way I would love to learn about it otherwise I might just end up grouping the joists and making arrays.
Thanks.
