I'm trying to create a stair from 1st floor to 2nd floor = 20'. Revit doesn't like the last section over the first (see images). How is this done properly?
Thanks,
Rob

You will need to make 2 stairs. One to the second landing and one from there to the top

No just make 2 stairs. Not fake at all.

We have had some limited sucess with this type of stair.
When you sketch your run, sketch the upper portion away from the lower, basically so no lines overlap. Finish the stair and see if it is behavig properly.
Edit the stair and move the upper run boundry and riser lines to over lap the lower run.
You will get an ignorable error message. Finish the stair.
The trick is, sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't.
The railings will not work properly, so these will need to be done manually.
But hey, we get ribbons in the new release, so that should make up for having tools that don't work properly.
Edit "if you have the higher level risers slightly offset from the lower ones, say 0.1mm, the stair will work, and it will still dimension to round numbers."

Yeah, don't get me started... Got to luuv subscription. Nothing like paying for a car a year in advance before you know what options it will have, or if you even want them at all.
I guess I can choose not to drive it - that's what the dealer told me.

Oops, forg to mention the riser offset. (see edited post above)
Basically if you ahve the higher level risers slightly offset form the lower risers, we use 0.1mm, the the stair will still look correct and it will dimension to a round number and it will allow the stair to work.
The rails however take a bit more work. But certainly achievable.
We basiacally remove the lower portion of the rail and then replace it manually.
