Pretty sure the answer is no to this, but is there a way in a view to hide just the details, or just the building sections, or just the wall sections.
We have multiple views that have all 3 on them and I'm trying to devise a way to tell the view to turn off the building and wall sections with out using "Hide Element".
Anything creative there?. . . .would be nice to create view templates from that as well.

I think you should be able to select the items in each view and right click the mouse, pick hide - elements and in that view only those elements will be hidden.

Manually... for now. 2010 allows filters of annotations

don't forget that you can hide these tags based on drawing scale - helps us to some degree but sounds like 2010 will be much better

Not sure if this will help, but keep in mind Wall, Building and Detail section markers have the "Hide at scales coarser than" parameter which can be used to prevent them from showing in views of other scales.

That is interesting to know! Are there other things you have heard about in 2010 that are not part of the marketing information?
I heard someone allude to the transparent local file creation being taken care of in 2010 when I told a person about the routines available here on AUGI.

I've also heard that at least a portion of the revision info will be exposed, so that you can add some of it to the Drawing List for placement on the cover sheet.

Now that would be great. I have had a few people ask me about that.
I will keep my fingers crossed for that one. Now I really can't wait for 2010!!!!
