Is it possible on the Refine Data page of the Data Extraction to change a columns format? The problem I'm having is that when I do my extraction, I want to multiply the "count" column and a column that was an extracted attribute. It gave me an error saying that the column was text. I tried to format the column and change it to "whole number" or "decimal" but it still is coming up "####". Is this possible?

welcome to AUGI, wdavid

Which AutoCAD are you in AutoCAD2007, 2008 or 2009? When you say extracted attribute do you mean a number typed into a block attribute or a physical attribute like the radius of a cirlce? I can't remember but I think 2007 (which does not have a .dxe file) will not use block text attributes in formula. I tried a test in 2008 and it worked fine. Make sure you do not have the "attribute definition" extracted just the name of the extracted attribute
