I had asked if they would change the word **** to something like poor and they said they liked "****."
Just goes to show you have to be careful what you write on these newsgroups.

Cr...sounds more "real" and "on the street" and an honest comment, so makes sense that marketing would like it. Too bad you get to go "down" in history as the man who called pdf quality ****!
I don't think less of you, if that helps!

Wait until you hear from Adobe's attorneys
(I should be on that site in a day or two with a quote as well)

Scott
Saying "****" is really not that bad. I think you should have added a little more emphasis and said what was really on your mind. Maybe something like: "The bullsh!t drawings that god dam piece of ***** program makes are Total F*#%ing" ****!" Don’t beat around the bush with your true thoughts. Let them fly!

The pdf quality out of revit can be ****, not all pdf files are ****, this is the problem with the quote.
I've had very poor resolution with pdf, while the dwf resolution seems excellent.

Fonts in pdf output from Revit are dodgey at best!

From what I remember of the pdf vs dwf thread, there were only about three respondents (out of about a dozen) that thought dwf would overtake pdf...

Am I the only one who thinks it's ironic that on the Customer Stories page the file to download of the story is a PDF? :screwy:

I have to thank the few folks that we contacted to get those quotes. As you can see with that page and this campaign, we are trying a little different tack with DWF than we have before.
I happen to love the '******' quote.
PS: we could have posted the customer story in DWF using the DWFwriter, but that is not what it really is intended for - even though it works quite well :)
