Not off hand, can I think of a tutorial. When I have to create an odd shape, I'll use massing to create a shape (probably a sweept revolve, or a profile along a path). Once I've got the shape, I'd assign a floor to the top surface.
The Ramp tools have improved in 2009, but I havn't played with it so far, and I'd recommend the method above, as I know it works.

acastillo,

Please note I have *moved* this thread from th 3ds Max - General forum to this one as I feel it will be better served in this forum.

Don't ignore the Revit help. Start there, then search these forums.

As for curved ramps, there's no need to create a mass. Masses are NOT building components. They're just an indication of volume. As for curved ramps, you can create curved ramps with the ramp tool itself. Again, see the Revit Help and keep your eyes on the Options Bar :) The option to create a curved ramp are there.

another way would be to create a floor with a variable thickness material, you can create that in the shape you need, then add or take away thickness in certain areas. see the image example

I have created one for a parking garage, I went down the path of creating one with the ramp tool with less than satisfactory results. I finally settled on the floor tool and modifying the sub elements. I added points and then assigned varying heights to each one until I got what I was looking for. Worked great!

I personnaly use inplace for those. The ramp/floor tools cannot follow the actual geometry of a real ramp. Spiraling, tilting inward while using a profil.

I would try out this method:
