So i have a railing the goes down about 5 steps and then levels out when the stairs extend further down to the ground.
Basically the problem is i cant create the angled part of the rail. Its on an angle and declinds and then goes flat...
If anyone has time to look at the attached file please let me know if it is something i doing wrong....

Try creating 2 separate railings. One for the sloped, and one for the horizontal.
Or, depending on what you need, you can also specify end railings in the rail structure to complete the horizontal extensions at top and bottom of the sloped railing.

Yeah Agreed.
The railing modeling in Revit need help.
Just model what you want, any means necessary.
Some times I've Modeled some more complex railings just using generic models, (long and tedious), but they are correct physically & graphically when finished.

Michael maybe looking at the curved part where it transitions from the wall to the stair, then curves around. Which it seems you would have to piece together w/ a couple of separate railings or model it with any means necessary.
