Seriously folks, think about it. Internet Explorer is that big

I continue to be amazed at how many features can be packed into so little executable code.

THANKS AND CONGRATS TO THE REVIT DEVELOPMENT TEAM!

45 MB is the download executable....once launched, it goes out at gets the rest from revit.autodesk.com. The content is the big part...if you can download the content once, then copy it to other machines, it will save you a ton of time.

I have never been able to fully download content from Autodesk's website and now is no different. Something always fails before the end. The CD is the only place I have ever been able to get the full content from. This time I get error code zero and then have to hit skip a dozen times to quit the activity. If they actually did post a 500 Mb file for download it would be a lot easier because you could use a download manager to pick up the pieces when the connection gets broken.
However, the content can wait, because it works fine without it!!

The program itself is still remarkably small in file size.

You are correct...it is a very small package for such an incredible program!

I've heard it said that Wes is quite incredible for such a small package but that's just tittle tattle I think.

ADT needs two CDs just for the text from the "Command Names" alone!

Revit is like Rhino that way, tiny program but, oh...so powerful!
