Hey all,

Long time no post...
Made a Revit Architecture walkthrough. Adjusted the speed with changes to frames, accelerator, etc. to make the movie exactly 20 seconds long. Played the avi on the same computer that exported the walkthrough. Looked perfect. Correct length and speed of walkthrough. Went to the conference room to watch it on a projector and it played super slow (like it does when you are exporting from Revit to avi, frame by frame.

Same exported file (avi) from Revit plays different speeds on different computers!

Is it a video card issue, a windows media player issue. or a Revit issue?

THANK YOU!
Stephen

Try converting it to WMV from AVI. You can do this with freeware like Format Factory.

We had the same thing happen, and it turned out to be that different codecs were installed in the various machines, and affected output/playback of the AVI file.

Converting to WMV and playing on same version of Windows media Player solved it for us.

What codec did you use when recording the AVI? We have had best results with Cinepac codec.

Cheers............
